OpenSkies, British Airways’ French subsidiary, this week introduced a new direct route from Paris Orly to New York JFK.

The airline already offers two flights a day to New York Newark but the new service – to begin operation on March 31 next year – will offer customers an extended range of connections and destinations from JFK, including numerous cities across the United States, as well as the Caribbean and Latin America.

The move comes just months after the successful introduction of the airline’s new three-cabin configuration and the new route will offer the same level of products and service that OpenSkies customers are already enjoying on the Paris-Newark route:

    • Biz Bed with its completely flat bed offering the best night’s sleep from New York to Paris
    • Prem Plus, the most comfortable Premier Economy cabin in its category
    • Eco offering both comfort and personalised service

The addition of the route to JFK will enable OpenSkies to offer its passengers more flexibility, by offering a range of flights spread out throughout the day, as well as the choice between the two most convenient airports in the Big Apple.

“The new configuration introduced a few months ago marked a true evolution for OpenSkies”, said Patrick Malval, general manager OpenSkies. “Building on the success of our new services offer and high demand from our passengers, we have launched a new route between Paris Orly and New York JFK, offering more flexibility and choice to our passengers.

“We are therefore continuing to invest in OpenSkies to ensure an unrivalled experience on the direct route Paris – New York”.
