BA’s first A380 takes to the skies

The test flight for our first A380 (MSN095) took place on Friday 9 November 2012 from Toulouse. At around 12.15pm (GMT) the aircraft took to the skies with Airbus flight test crew at the helm to test the systems and to make sure that it’s air worthy.

 This  week  the aircraft will make its way from Toulouse to Hamburg where it will undergo cabin furnishing and external painting. It will then have systems tested, including inflight entertainment (IFE).

 Our second aircraft (MSN121) has had its major sections inspected and is nearly built (with just the engines left to be added). Major sections of our third aircraft (MSN124) have also been inspected and are now ready to be assembled.
