The Barclays Premier League Trophy will visit British Airways Waterside on Wednesday November 14, between 11:30 and 15:00, when employees and their families will be able to take pictures with the trophy and donate money to the Flying Start campaign for crucial vaccines.
Flying Start, the airline’s global charity partnership with Comic Relief, is calling on colleagues to help make a difference to children’s lives across Africa by raising the money for vaccinations.
Every year, almost two million children living in Africa die from diseases such as diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough and pneumonia, all of which are easily prevented by simple vaccines which cost from as little as £5.
