BA in Top 10 Safety List

BA is the only UK-based carrier in the top 10 safest airline list compiled by German monitoring organisation Jacdec.

Jacdec’s figures – widely reported in the media – are calculated by comparing serious incidents in the last 30 years with passenger miles flown.

Finnair comes out top of the list, BA is placed in tenth spot – Virgin Atlantic is 15th, easyJet 17th, Thomas Cook Airlines at 18th and Ryanair at 32nd.
