BA forced to cancel some flights to Spain as Iberia unions start second strike

Unions at Iberia are continuing their industrial action with the second of three strikes lasting from Monday March 4 until Friday March 8, 2013.

As Iberia provides ground handling for some of BA’s Spanish flights, the industrial action will have a knock-on effect, and a number of BA-operated services to and from Madrid, Barcelona and Malaga have been cancelled on Monday 4 March and Tuesday 5 March.

Services to and from Alicante, Ibiza and Palma should operate as normal.

Customers on cancelled BA flights can rebook onto an alternative (BA or Iberia) flight operating on the same route or get a full refund.

Operations will keep the BA schedule under review. Customers are being advised to check ba.com for the full details of the schedule.
