British Airways has won the Tommy’s Baby-Friendly Award for Best Family Airline.
The award, which was based on the votes of 32,000 members of the public, was handed over at a ceremony at London’s Landmark Hotel last Friday.
BA fought off the challenge of four other shortlisted airlines – easyJet, Fly Thomas Cook, Thomson Airways and Virgin Atlantic – to take the title.
The pregnancy care charity made the award in recognition of the airline’s success in taking account of the needs of parents with small children
