Last night, British Airways was honoured at the Marketing Society Awards for Excellence for its sponsorship of the London 2012 Olympics.
 Winning the Brand Revitalisation award, the London 2012 Games home advantage campaign was recognised for helping BA to regain market leadership and reigniting passion in the brand with both colleagues and members of the public.

The award comes just weeks after the campaign secured the Marketing Week Engage award in the travel category.

Abigail Comber, head of marketing, said: “We are so pleased to have won another award for sponsorship the London 2012 Olympics. The judges were extremely complimentary and told us that the campaign was some of the boldest, most ambitious advertising of the year.”
