Getting a good night’s sleep is now easier than ever for British Airways customers, thanks to a new virtual ‘sleep channel’.
A range of specially selected audio CDs have been chosen to help customers relax and unwind while onboard the airline’s long-haul flights with the aim of gently lulling them to sleep.

The dream-inducing CDs feature in the Well Being section of the airline’s in-flight entertainment system and are part of British Airways’ £5bn investment to make life for customers more comfortable in the air and on the ground.

Gaynor Castle, aircraft product development manager, said: “We know how important it is for our customers to relax and get the best possible sleep onboard.

“For those seeking entertainment, we have a fantastic range of the latest blockbuster movies and top TV shows than can be watched as soon as customers settle down in their seats, thanks to the introduction of extended in-flight entertainment.

“But for those customers looking for slumber, our sleep channel, with its carefully chosen audio tracks for adults and children, will help them make the most of their flight to relax, unwind and sleep with the aid of ambient music and comforting sounds.”
