Heathrow Terminal 2 to open in one year’s time

Heathrow’s new Terminal 2 will open on June 4, 2014 owner HAL has announced.

The first aircraft, a United Airlines flight from Chicago, is scheduled to land at 05.55 on the day.

Terminal 2 will eventually serve some 20 million passengers a year and be home to 23 Star Alliance airlines.
