The first of ten new Airbus A320s joined the fleet this week as part of British Airways’ plan to enhance its short-haul operation.

The aircraft will enter service on Monday, June 17 after the installation of seats and cabin fittings by colleagues in engineering.

The ten new A320s, due to be delivered between June 2013 and October 2014,will enable British Airways to commence the retirement of some of its older short-haul aircraft.
