British Airways has scooped two awards in the Sunday Times Travel Awards 2013, which are voted for by its readers. BA scored top marks in both the long-haul and short-haul airline categories.
The Sunday Times commended BA for operating one of the world’s largest and most modern fleets. The paper also stated that the new Airbus A380 recently took to the air on its first long-haul flight, which “confirmed that the airline is still flying high”.
