British Airways has made the dreams of 280 children come true at a special Children in the Clouds event, taking them on a special panoramic flight over the cities of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

BA worked with charities in Sao Paulo and nearby regions to invite local children, including those with special needs, to enjoy a party and entertainment before the boarding the flight.

This is the third year that BA has organised the event. BA colleagues volunteered to help with the project, not just by working on the flight but also planting 158 trees the following day to ensure the flight was carbon offset.

The children were chosen in partnership with Brazilian charities such as Casa Ronald McDonald, Casa Hope, Fundação Cafu, Afinando o Futuro com Arte and Lar do Caminho..
