IAG Group traffic measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometres and including figures from recently acquired Vueling, increased by 8.8 per cent versus September 2012.

Group capacity measured in Available Seat Kilometres rose by 8.3 per cent.

Group premium traffic for September decreased by 0.1 per cent compared to the previous year, falling on capacity.

Underlying market conditions remain unchanged from those described at the publication of Quarter Two results on August 2.

British Airways saw Revenue Passenger Kilometres increase by 2.4 per cent compared to September 2012, with a 1.8 per cent increase on Available Seat Kilometres.
