OpenSkies, BA’s French subsidiary, has won the bronze award for the ‘airline of the year’ category at the Lauriers 2013 awards for business travel. The judging panel, composed of professionals in business travel industry, appreciated OpenSkies’ continuous efforts in offering the best inflight experience on the Paris to New York route.
OpenSkies flies between Paris Orly and New York’s JFK or Newark airports. It offers three cabins on board their 757s: Biz Bed, Prem Plus and Eco. The Prem Plus and Biz Bed services give for a unique premium experience.
On board there are fine wines and a four course, French-influenced menu. All customers are issued with iPads pre-loaded with a 70-hour selection of IFE movies and TV shows.
This is the second award OpenSkies has received this year, following an Innovation Award in June for its Sleeper Service in Biz Bed.
