British Airways has been named Best Airline for Customer service in the 2013 British Travel Awards. BA beat Thomson Airways and Emirates to the top spot, which were awarded silver and bronze respectively. More than 100,000 UK households voted for the winners by completing a survey and the awards are the biggest consumer-voted programme in the country.
BA has also been awarded two Travel Agents Choice Awards. It was voted top in the ‘Airline to Latin America and the Caribbean’ and ‘Short Haul Airline’ categories. The Travel Agents Choice awards are organised by Selling Longhaul Magazine.
