IBA’s executive chairman Keith Williams will join the board of John Lewis Partnership plc on March 1 as a non-executive director.
“John Lewis and British Airways are both very strong UK brands. As a retailer, John Lewis has become a byword for high standards in product quality and customer service,” said Keith. “I look forward to learning more about how it achieves these standards and whether there are any lessons that could be applied to the airline business.”

The John Lewis Partnership board is responsible for the proper management of the Partnership’s commercial activity. Members of the Partnership Board include the chairman, five directors appointed by the chairman, five directors elected by the Partnership Council who provide a direct link with the Partnership’s democratic structure and three non executive directors
