SriLankan Airlines in now part of oneworld, officially joining from midnight on April 30 (local time Columbo) and is the first carrier from the Indian subcontinent to join any of the global airline alliances.
The airline celebrated at a ceremony at South Asia’s newest international airport, Hambantota’s MattalaRajapaksa International. Key ministers from Sri Lanka’s government will be attending the event.

SriLankan’s first flight as part of oneworld will be UL318 departed from Colombo to the KualaLumpur at 7.45am (May 1).
