As the school holidays begin, British Airways Holidays has conducted a survey with adults and children that reveals which celebrities they would most like to jet away with. Royal family members Prince Harry and the Duchess of Cambridge came in the top twenty for both men and women and celebrity royalty Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham featured in the lists of both boys and girls aged 5-12.
Collectively 22 per cent of all adults said they wanted to holiday with Prince Harry, and other favourite names appearing in both gender lists include Holly Willoughby and Stephen Fry. Men voted in Jeremy Clarkson and Stephen Fry as the men they’d like to go on holiday with.

Both boys and girls meanwhile have also voted for many of the same names, including Rihanna, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lawrence, Taylor Swift and two of the Beckham brothers.

Splits by region also revealed some interesting results. In Scotland, Barack Obama, Stephen Fry and Cameron Diaz came out on top, each receiving votes from 21 per cent of participants, while in Yorkshire all the top votes went to female celebs including Abbey Clancy, Jennifer Aniston and Holly Willoughby. In Wales Gary Barlow, David Walliams and David Beckham each received votes from 17 per cent of participants, while the South West made Prince Harry their clear favourite, with nearly 22 per cent of people voting him as the person they’d most like to go on holiday with.
Claire Bentley, British Airways Holidays’ managing director, said: “We often see a rise in the number of bookings to a particular destination after a Royal visit or when it’s named as a celebrity hot-spot.
People can holiday like a celebrity this year with a fantastic range of luxury destinations on offer at affordable prices. We also offer customers the opportunity to pay a deposit and spread the cost to make it even easier to enjoy the summer.”
British Airways Holidays also revealed that the most poplar holiday destinations this summer were Orlando, the Dominican Republic and Barcelona. The busiest day at the start of the holidays is expected to be Friday July 25, when 125,000 people will be travelling to 179 destinations worldwide.
