From summer 2015, British Airways’ services to Providenciales (PLS) in Turks and Caicos will fly from London Gatwick instead of London Heathrow. The service will start flying from Gatwick on March 29, 2015 and will continue to operate on a Sunday. This is a direct service with a stop in Antigua on both the outbound and return service, instead of Nassau.
Customers will also be able to fly between Antigua and Providenciales as a new service.
This service complements BA’s leisure flying network to the Caribbean from Gatwick, and the airline will increase capacity to Providenciales by changing the aircraft from a Boeing 767 toa larger Boeing 777. The 777 has 216 seats in World Traveller, 24 seats in World Traveller Plus and 40 seats in Club World.
