Airline passengers travelling to the US are being advised to make sure their electronic devices, such as iPads, tablets, mobile phones and laptops, are charged before they travel.
The UK Government’s website on hand-luggage restrictions has been updated with this advice for those flying to the US: “Make sure your electronic devices are charged before you travel. If your device doesn’t switch on, you won’t be allowed to bring it onto the aircraft.”
BA flies to 19 US cities from Heathrow, operating up to 41 services a day.
