British Airways is preparing for the busiest year yet at London City Airport.This summer there will be 131,000 more seats available direct from the Docklands to popular business and leisure destinations in the UK and Europe.

With recently launched flights to Dublin, and new summer only routes to the Greek islands of Mykonos and Santorini, there will be an additional 465 flights this summer, an increase of five per cent on last year.

British Airways will fly to a record 29 destinations from London City Airport with increased frequency on many of the popular routes.

During the peak season services to Ibiza will increase to 19 flights a week, Florence and Nice to nine a week, Malaga to eight a week, Venice to five a week and Angers to three a week.

There will also be more flights to Rotterdam, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Madrid.
