Last year there were more than 2,700 articles about British Airways in UK national publications and news websites, of which 79 per cent were positive, according to media evaluation company Ebiquity.

The service first launched in December 2014 on flights between Heathrow and Las Vegas, Phoenix, Rio de Janeiro, Vancouver, Dallas and Seattle.

It will now be extended to flights between London Heathrow and Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Mexico, Washington, Austin and San Diego from February 5, 2015.

Customers travelling in First, Club World and World Traveller Plus can use the service  to guarantee their first meal entrée choice on board by selecting it online before they fly. They can select their meal from 30 days before their flight departs, right up to 24 hours prior to take-off through the ‘manage my booking’ tool on ba.com.
