FLYBE to pull out of London City – Dublin route

Flybe is to stop flying between London City Airport and Dublin from May 2015, just seven months after taking on the lucrative route.

Flybe started flying from London City in October, offering flights to Belfast, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Exeter, Dublin and Inverness. The airline’s chief commercial officer Paul Simmons said: ‘Overall passenger numbers are below our projections and there are no signs of this situation changing.’
