Staff travel – new European destinations

In the forthcoming weeks new European destinations from London Gatwick and London Heathrow will commence. The routes from LGW are Heraklion, Bodrum, Cagliari, Dalaman, Rhodes and Funchal. From LHR the new routes are Corfu, Krakow, Olbia, Kos and Split.

All of these routes, with the exception of Funchal and Krakow, will operate during Summer 2015 only. Funchal and Krakow will operate year round.

it is expected that these routes will be very busy commercially in particular during the summer months.

For staff travel passengers these airports will have no facilities to assist with booking and/or ticketing requirements. Additionally internet access may not be available nor online check-in.

All passengers must have the correct ticketing including back-up tickets before arriving at the airport. Some airports only have onward flights to the mainland the following day therefore it is strongly recommended that schedules are researched before travel commences.

Please ensure that you and/or your nominees are fully prepared if planning to travel to one of these destinations. Airport staff will be unable to assist with any staff travel queries or requirements that may arise on the day.
