It won’t be flying for a few months yet, but British Airways’ new Boeing 787-9 is starting to take shape across the AtlanticAs announced last week, the 787-9 will join the British Airways fleet at the end of September and start flying to Delhi at the start of the winter schedule on October 25. But as these photos show, construction of the latest plane is well underway at the Boeing factory in Seattle.

The fuselage sections are now fully joined, the main landing gear has been installed and the interior installation has begun. The installation of our brand new First class cabin – the first to appear on a BA Dreamliner – is scheduled to begin by the end of the week.
