British Airways has announced the suspension of two routes as part of a review of its global schedules this coming winter.

Flights to Entebbe in Uganda will be suspended from October 2, and flights to Almaty in Kazakhstan will be suspended from October 11.

Neither route is commercially viable at present.

Customers who hold bookings for flights after the suspension dates will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to rebook.

Discussions have begun with colleagues who work in Uganda and Kazakhstan about the route suspensions.
