Men in Sheds – new community workshop in Staines

A new community workshop has been set up in Staines for retired men who would like to spend time on hobbies or do repairs for themselves or friends / neighbours.

The workshop, which is supported by Spelthorne Council, is located in the Fairway Centre at Knowle Green, Staines, TW18 1AJ.

There are a range of tools that can be used, both electrical & manual, including a lathe, pedestal drill, bandsaw,  tablewas, mortise, thicknesser, metal working lathe & a range of hand tools.

Currently the workshop is open on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons & the opening times may be extended if there is sufficient interest.
