During the traditional ribbon cutting and cake ceremony before the departure of the first flight, Stephen Turner, Commercial Director for Manchester Airport, said: “We are delighted to welcome Iberia Express to Manchester Airport.

“The airline will provide further choice for customers looking to visit Madrid as well as giving the opportunity to connect to Iberia’s extensive route network.”

From now on, our customers will be able to fly from Manchester to Madrid with our airline at competitive prices and enjoying a good, as well as efficient service.”
