From 17 September 2015, the British Airways check-in area will move from Zone G to Zone D on the main departure concourse
The following check-in procedures will apply to staff passengers. A dedicated Staff Travel Room will be available for passengers using standby concessions.
Passengers using a bookable concession
Firm booked passengers should check-in online at ba.com from 24 hours before flight departure. If you are allocated a seat you should go to a kiosk on arrival in Zone D to have your bag tag/s issued. You should then proceed to a bag drop desk. Note: there is no dedicated bag drop desk for staff passengers.
Passengers on long haul services with hand baggage only must go to the Passport & Visa Desk to have their documents checked before proceeding to security.
Waitlisted passengers should check-in at a kiosk on arrival in Zone D. If you are allocated a seat, follow the kiosk instructions to have your bag tag/s issued. You should then proceed to a bag drop desk.
If you are not allocated a seat at check-in you should go to ESS Flight Management Desk D10 at the rear of Zone D. Do not go to the Staff Travel Room, this is for standby passengers only. If you are accepted for the flight you will be issued with your boarding card and have your bags accepted.
If you are not accepted you will be automatically listed for the next flight to your destination if it is on the same day. Advise the ESS Flight Management Desk if you do not want this.
