British Airways is doubling the frequency of its London City-Angers route for the summer months in 2016
The summer-only service to the heart of the Loire Valley (pictured) was launched in May 2012, but demand for seats is so high the twice-weekly flights will increase for 2016 with improved departure times
The summer schedule will begin on March 28, initially with two flights a week, increasing to three a week in May and four a week in June, July and August.
The additional flights to Angers are part of an enhanced British Airways schedule to France direct from the Docklands next year.
The airline will start flying from London City to Bergerac, in one of France’s most popular wine growing regions, four times a week from May next year through to September.
In addition there will be an extra three flights a week to Nice and an extra Saturday flight to Quimper during the peak summer months.
