British Airways Cabin Crew have been dashing about London in a bid to raise money for Sport Relief through Flying Start. It’s just one of several fundraising initiatives taking place in the coming weeks to support Sport Relief. Pushing in-flight trolleys and decked out in their airline uniforms, the cabin crew walked 10 miles across the 13 iconic bridges of London in a Great Trolley Dash to raise £3,000 for Sport Relief.
Mary Barry, Community Investment Manager, said: “It doesn’t get more British than British Airways cabin crew with their trolleys dashing over London’s famous bridges. It’s a great way to raise money, as well as a few smiles at the same time.”
The 13 bridges on their journey were; Battersea Bridge, Albert Bridge, Chelsea Bridge, Vauxhall Bridge, Lambeth Bridge, Westminster Bridge, Hungerford Bridge (Golden Jubilee), Waterloo Bridge, Blackfriars Bridge, Millennium Bridge, Southwark Bridge, London Bridge and Tower Bridge.
