Tomorrow (Wednesday April 27) sees the departure of British Airways’ first flight to San Jose, Costa Rica.

BA2237, a Boeing 777, will be flown by Captain Dave Willsher, accompanied by Senior First Officers Andy Fonseca and James Capper.

The flight is scheduled to depart at 11.20am, arriving in San Jose some 11 hours and five minutes later.

The flight is the first of a twice weekly operation from Gatwick through this summer, rising to three times a week in winter.
