The Club Kitchen has been refreshed.
By listening to customers and crew, the catering team identified the Kitchen’s most popular products. Some new suppliers have been introduced, such as patisserie supplier Rhokket, who will provide cakes for the summer season.
There are also some old favourites returning, including the popular Cadbury’s box, the super seed snack bar from 9BAR, and retro sweets. The healthy snacks and nibbles have also been updated with the new selection of cold salad pots and sandwiches. And the airline’s continued partnership with Waitrose ensures a daily supply of freshly cut fruits as well as yoghurt with granola topping.
Island Bakery shortbread, Nuts and Jo&Seph popcorn will continue and British premium crisp brand – Kettle – will be available in in classic traditional flavours.
On flights to India specific Indian snacks will still be supplied with the new ‘Tuk Tuk’ products.
In other catering news customers flying out of Gatwick can now pre-order their meals in premium cabins with the first pre-ordered meals being served on board at the weekend. This initiative has already proved popular since its introduction on Heathrow routes last year, with customers loving the control and quality it brings to their on-board mealtimes.
