The British Airways and Qatar Airways joint business agreement came into effect on Sunday October 30.

Flights are now on sale with new routes operated by the joint venture including Ho Chi Minh City, Krabi and the Seychelles.

The joint business will offer customers a wider choice of flights, an enhanced network, greater choice of fares and superior benefits for members of their frequent flyer programmes.

Sean Doyle, Director of Networks and Alliances, said: “This joint business complements our existing revenue sharing agreements, helping us to stay competitive across the globe and offer more benefits to our customers.”

The combined route network will serve more than 75 destinations and offer seven direct daily services between the airlines’ hubs of London and Doha, providing a smoother travel experience between the UK, continental Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa.
