British Airways’ Consumer PR team has been shortlisted for the prestigious BT Sport Industry Awards 2017 for its work promoting the return of Team GB and ParalympicsGB from the Rio Games.
The awards celebrate the most creative, innovative and commercially successful work from the UK sport industry. The team will go head to head with leading brands including Adidas, Samsung and Land Rover for the Best Use of PR Award.
Consumer PR Manager, Sophia Proctor, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for this prestigious award and for the recognition of all our hard work.”
The official shortlist was selected through an extensive process involving more than 60 key industry figures across two weeks of intensive judging, and will now go forward to a further judging panel who will decide the winners in each category.
The industry’s most anticipated night of the year – taking place on April 27 – will see more than 1,750 major players from the world of sport, business and entertainment come together for an unforgettable night celebrating the standout work from across the sporting world.
