British Airways has been named top Consumer and top Business Superbrand – the third year running the airline has won both awards

The results follow a poll of UK consumers and British business professionals who judge brand quality, reliability and distinction.

The airline has won Consumer Superbrand for a fourth consecutive year and Business Superbrand for the third year in a row.

Reassuring and traditional brands dominated the Consumer Top 20 with established British retailers John Lewis and Marks & Spencer move up the rankings.  Apple retained second spot in the Business Top 20 while US tech giant Microsoft moved up to third place.

Commenting on the double-win, Director of Customer Troy Warfield said: “This is a stunning achievement that everyone in BA can be very proud of. This award is recognition from our customers about the service they receive – thank you. Despite a year of challenges and change, the confidence and reassurance attached to our brand continues to shine brightly.”
