British Airways is to launch new weekly summer sun flights to the Balearic Islands from Dublin and Edinburgh in time for the busy summer holiday period
From May the airline will begin summer-only direct flights from Dublin to Ibiza and in June from Edinburgh to Palma, Majorca.
Flights from Dublin will operate out on Fridays and back on Sundays and from Edinburgh on Fridays throughout the summer.
All flights will operate on modern Embraer 190 jet aircraft, with two abreast seating so every customer can have an aisle or window seat.
Luke Hayhoe, General Manager Customer and Commercial, said: “These new flights will give our customers in Ireland and Scotland the opportunity to jet off to the sunshine direct from their doorstep. Flights from Dublin are ideal for travellers looking for flexibility with options from a two-night stay to a longer holiday in Ibiza and from Edinburgh the flights are well timed for travellers looking for one or two week holidays in Majorca.”
Basic each way fares from Dublin to Ibiza from 49 Euros and from Edinburgh to Palma from £59 available to book on www.ba.com
