Staff Travel – Embargo warning on Finnair flights (AY) Friday 10th of March

Embargo warning on Finnair flights due to possible strike on Friday 10th of March We have been advised by Finnair (AY) that on Friday 10th of March there will be a possible union strike which will affect Finnair flight operations.

Due to this very difficult situation and the challenges that the strike would bring AY have decided to impose an embargo with the following details:

* Embargoed routes: all Finnair flights departing from Helsinki (travelling on flights to Helsinki permitted)

* Embargo is valid on flights that are scheduled to departure at 12.00 – 23.59 (Finnish time) on the 10th of March 2017

* Embargoed ticket types: all leisure travel tickets (R1, R2)

Please make alternative arrangements or take back-up tickets, before you travel.
